On this episode of The Zen Disc Golf Podcast, Zach and I dispel some of the bad information on MEDITATION, and make they concept easier to swallow for some who have gotten stuck on needing a tie-dye shirts and sandals to be able to do it. We also show how disc golf itself can be seen as a form of meditation when looked at from the right angle.
Then, we talk about the pros and cons of having a static vs a dynamic disc golf bag, and how to choose the right discs to carry or to leave in the car.
We also had the opportunity to chat with Matt Kruger, who is the designer of the uDisc App. Matt goes over many of the features of the app and where he sees uDisc in the future.
Next podcast we will be talking about CONFIDENCE: what it is, where it comes from, and how to gain more!
(00:00) MOMENT OF ZEN “Effortless activity happens at moments in dance and in sports at the highest levels of performance; when it does, it takes everybody’s breath away… Action then becomes a piece your expression of art, of being, of letting go of all doing– A merging of mind and body in motion.” – Jon Kabat-Zinn (Wherever You Go, There You Are)
